Renovation and conversion of a rural building into an accommodation and commercial facility

This new way of staying has also seen a significant increase in our region and it is precisely for this reason that the client wanted to give the traveler who chooses Friuli Venezia Giulia as a destination for his travels, a chance to travel in a more genuine way, coming into contact with the locals, thus creating a unique experience of its kind.

The building in question is a typical example of Friulian rural architecture. Located in the historic village of Clauiano, this building saw a start of work prior to my intervention. The final use of the property was not clear and was decided thanks to my design advice. The new project for the Bed and Breakfast with adjoining restaurant and outdoor swimming pool and a residential unit on the top level was then presented to the client. At the moment the construction site is nearing completion.
