Building renovation project in the hilly area of Gorizia
The building looked like a rural building with various structural problems and water infiltration due to rising phenomena (we are close to a mountain).
The client’s desire was to convert the building into a home by totally recovering its volume and renovating the non-habitable rooms on the ground floor and in the basement.
The criticality of the project was certainly of a technical nature as the infiltration phenomena were really very copious and difficult to eliminate. I was able to study a design solution implemented to ensure the success of the works and jointly to solve all the problems of infiltration. The overall aesthetic result of the intervention is also extremely pleasant.
I was responsible for the design of the rehabilitation and restoration interventions and the finding of all the building permits (building permit and landscape authorization) as well as the management of the works.
